An over fervent Bangladeshi fan has insulted the Indian National Flag on social media just ahead of the India-Bangladesh clash in the semi-finals of the ongoing Champions Trophy. It is shameful what Bangladeshi Fans Keep doing on social media. Sifat Abdullah a Bangladeshi posted a photo-shopped picture on Facebook where a dog draped Indian tri-colour is being attacked by a tiger.
“It is going to be a great match” is what he means in his post in Bangla. This is your sportsmanship neighbors?
Tiger here representing their cricket team as the Bangladesh cricket board uses tiger as it’s symbol. It’s Facebook page also goes by the name of ‘Bangladesh Cricket: The Tigers’. This picture above insults the nation sentiments of India.
This is not the first instance when Bangladeshi fans have crossed the limit of sportsmanship and disrespected India. Bangladeshis have done it in the past too . Once they Photo-shopped image of Taskin Ahmed holding severed head of MS Dhoni which irked Indian fans.
A Bangladesh paper insults Team India Earlier in 2015, a Bangla newspaper “Prothom Alo”, in its edition (Weekly humour magazine – “Rosh Alo”), published a distasteful advertisement which left Indian fans fuming.

If cricket is religion in India, it’s beyond that in Bangladesh. It’s a getaway from all the worries of poverty, unemployment and other teething issues. But they should never forget cricket is a gentlemen’s game and only gentlemen deserve to follow and preach it.
