5th Sep.- Samyuktha Hegde is a South India films actress who won hearts with her debut in the film Kirik Party as Arya. She won Filmfare as Best actress in Supporting role– Kannada. She participated in reality shows MTV Roadies, Bigg Boss Kannada (2017) and MTV Splitsvilla (2018), where she ended up as the first runner up. Recently a video shared on her twitter handle goes viral where a women is seen attacking a girl in a park.
The Kannada actress Samyuktha Hegde was harassed by an ‘activist’ Kavitha Reddy on Friday evening for wearing a sports bra in a Bengaluru park. The actress shared a video about the incident in her twitter handle. Where Kavitha Reddy can be seen publicly assaulting a girl and making video at Agara Lake, Bengaluru .

Samyuktha Hegde shared this incident with e-times. She said she was mobbed by few boys who joined later and soon started to threaten her friends and her using abusing language. They were then taken to the local station where finally a cop came to their rescue. He had sent the girls off saying that they had done nothing wrong. The actor is shocked and alarmed that such an incident could happen in broad daylight. She has twitted @BlrCityPolice @CPBlr about the same and has asked support using tag #thisisWRONG.
The Lady in the video is Kavitha Reddy, an ‘activist’ associated with Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee, a Member of KPCC Task Force COVID19, March 2020. She is an Ex State Secretary, Karnataka Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee. She is a spokesperson in Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee, since 2017 according to her website. Samyuktha Hegde is disturbed that such incidents can happen in a public park with people around. Kavitha Reddy insulted and abused them for simply wearing workout clothes and exercising in a park in central Bengaluru. In another video in her Instagram account she shares how shocked she is, asking what is wrong with people.
She thinks that is was high time that such acts are questioned and that random should stop people playing moral police and torture others without reason, Samyuktha shares her link to the story in e-times.
